Bungendore Run

Hey Guy’s,
On the 30th of May, there will be a run to Bungendore via Mac’s Reef Road
for lunch, then home through Queenbeyan.
Meet at the srvice station on the Federal Wighway just north of Majura Road
at 10AM, right next to Rydges Eagle Hawk Canberra Resort.
Weekend at Jindabyne

Hey Guy’s,
Looking at having a weekend in Jindabyne on the weekend of the 26th Nov.
Hopefully this will give everyone plenty of time to organise themselves. We’ll
be staying in the Defence Ski Lodge in Thredbo. The price will be $33 per head
per night. You will be required to bring your own linen or a sleeping bag, and
there is a kitchen available for those that want to cook for themselves.
Meet up on the Friday night and head out for a tour around the mountains
on the Saturday morning. Depending upon the number and duration of stops,
it’s about a 5 hour drive at an easy pace. Although fun, the roads around the
mountains can be treacherous so caution is advised. At that time of year there
will be no requirement for snow chains. It is highly recommended to bring a
camera!
I’ll post an update as soon as I firm pricing. In the mean time, if people can
indicate their interest, I can firm up bookings. The lodge sleeps 20 (2 to a room)
so will be first in best dressed, though I may be able to organise accommodation
for extras elsewhere if the need arises.

ACT Club Dinner

There will be a dinner at 7 PM on Tuesday evening, 4th May to discuss the
re-invigoration of the ACT MR2 club. So, if you have any ideas or interest at all,
come along , enjoy the company and meet the new and excited faces of the ACT
group!
Cooma Road run 17th January

Hi All,
It was suggested that a nice run out at Cooma Rd on the 17th might be a nice easy start to the new year.
Down to Williamsdale on the Cooma road and then come back via the back roads through, Burra, Googong and Queanbeyan then a BBQ lunch at Tony’s place in Ainslie? See map. Below, Would be about 100 kilometres tops.
Meet at the New Museum car park at 10:30am on the 17th.
