Weekend at Jindabyne

Hey Guy’s,

Looking at having a weekend in Jindabyne on the weekend of the 26th Nov.

Hopefully this will give everyone plenty of time to organise themselves. We’ll

be staying in the Defence Ski Lodge in Thredbo. The price will be $33 per head

per night. You will be required to bring your own linen or a sleeping bag, and

there is a kitchen available for those that want to cook for themselves.

Meet up on the Friday night and head out for a tour around the mountains

on the Saturday morning. Depending upon the number and duration of stops,

it’s about a 5 hour drive at an easy pace. Although fun, the roads around the

mountains can be treacherous so caution is advised. At that time of year there

will be no requirement for snow chains. It is highly recommended to bring a

camera!

I’ll post an update as soon as I firm pricing. In the mean time, if people can

indicate their interest, I can firm up bookings. The lodge sleeps 20 (2 to a room)

so will be first in best dressed, though I may be able to organise accommodation

for extras elsewhere if the need arises.
