Annual General Meeting
Date: Friday 30 July 2010
Time: 7pm for dinner - AGM begins at 8pm sharp
Venue: Burvale Hotel, cnr Springvale Road and Burwood Highway, Nunawading
We invite all comers to the AGM, members and people that would like to meet others or perhaps even considering joining the club to see what’s we’re all about. Also, it’s your chance to put your hand up as all the committee positions will be up for grabs.
Come along for dinner first or just come for the meeting. Either way, come along! Please RSVP to Mark via email president[at]mr2club.com.au so that we can book numbers. Please advise if joining us for dinner from 7pm.

Trivia Run
Are you ready for a trivia based event? The July 2010 event organised by Robert Larson will involve sharp eyes and a keen sense of direction. But don’t let this scare you off, a keen white Spyder owner can attest to the fact that none of these attributes are required to have a fantastic time. A great deal of planning has gone into this event so please make sure you RSVP.

Start point: Nunawading McDonalds, cnr Whitehorse and Springvale Rds
Start time: 9:30am for a staggered 10:00am start
Run Distance: Expect approx 85 km to the lunch destination
Details: Cars will be sent off at about 2 minute intervals with instructions and some observation questions on the route.

Brass Monkey
The Brass Monkey Run is an annual event held just as winter starts to take hold. You never know what the event will be - could be trivia, could be treasure hunt, could be points for the random items you have in your car!

Great Alpine Run
Come one, Come all. The Great Alpine Run has rolled around once more. Spend a fun filled weekend at Mount Hotham with the Victorian MR2 Club. You are guaranteed fantastic roads, great food, endless laughs, wonderful company and fingers crossed a bit of snow.
Date: Saturday 24th April - Monday 26th April 2010
Where: South Gippsland Ski Club, Mt Hotham (http://www.sceg.com.au/)
Cost: $45 per person per night (inc breakfast and linen)
Bring: Dinner will be provided by everyone attending and we will be in contact closer to the date regarding what to make. Snow chains highly recommended.

Steiglitz and Rockatansky (Westside) Run.
Date: Sunday 28th Feb
Run distance: Approx 140km
Route: Little River, Meredith and Steiglitz passing locations from Mad Max
and the beautiful Brisbane Ranges.
Destination: Lunch at The Fyansford Hotel at 1pm.

East Side Run to Buxton
Date: 31 January 2010
Starting with a lovely drive out east through Healesville, the Black Spur, and on to Buxton where we heartily enjoyed lunch including a few of the famous Buxton Burgers!
The return journey was via Cambarville along the Reefton Spur down to Warburton and then back to Lilydale. There were a few new faces and cars and a good turnout which was fantastic to see.
