Strawberry run down the peninsula
When: Sunday 27 Feb
Meet point: 11am for 11.15am departure at Frankston Yacht Club car park on Nepean Hwy
Route: Down around the bay for lunch at Portsea Hotel or similar and then to the Strawberry Farm where you can taste, pick your own or just purchase from the wide variety.

We’ll be heading Northwest to the Brisbane Ranges, but this one will be different to previous recent runs we’ve done in this area and travelling some new territory, concluding with lunch at the Lara Hotel.

August Trivia run
Are you ready for a trivia based event? Really its an observation trivia event. questions will be asked about stuff you should see on the route.

- Start point: Maccas cnr Maroondah Hwy & Springvale Road
- Start time: 9:30am for a staggered start from around 10am
- Run Distance: Don’t know yet?
- Details: Cars will be sent off at about 2 minute intervals with instructions and some observation questions on the route.

Calling all MR2s throughout Australia.
Where:
- Centred around Bright in Victoria. Negotiations are underway for a Motel of choice.
Events:
- Friday 30 September: Arrive and Registration.
- Saturday 1 October: AM Arrive and Registration.
- Saturday 1 October: PM Bright Tourist Highlights, (their spring festival has just finished so the flowers should still be out) or “Drive through the High Country”.
- Saturday 1 October: Evening: MR2 Nationals 2011 Dinner.
- Sunday 2 October: Tarmac Rally – details to be confirmed later.
- Monday 3 October: Winton Raceway for a full day of practice. http://www.wintonmotorraceway.com.au/home/
We are hoping to get as many MR2s to this event as possible to break 64, the Australian Record for “MR2s in One Place”. So tell all your friends about the MR2 Nationals 2011 in Bright, Victoria. Spread the word. Let’s make this event one to be talked about for many years to come.
