Race Your MR2

At NSW Supersprint Championship....

Supersprinting is the easy way to get into racing.

Conducted on race circuits around NSW, a supersprint is where most people start in motorsport.  It is not head to head racing, although you are on the track with other cars.  Cars are spaced out around the track, and grouped so that you are always out with cars of similar speeds.

You don't need to have much special equipment to go supersprinting.  As long as your car is in roadworthy condition, all you need to do is fit a 1kg fire extinguisher, a secondary bonnet restraint, and a blue magnetic triangle to show where your battery is, and you're away!

With cotton clothing from neck to ankle to wrist, and an approved helmet, you're ready to go racing.

There are many club members willing to help you get started.
