NOTE: This event is STRICTLY for cars 25 years and older, so some ZZW30s will not be able to enter.
MEMBER’S MEETING
& CHRISTMAS PARTY

For those wishing to do a mini Runabout prior to the meeting, meet at McDonalds Fountain Gate 10am for 10:30am depart. This drive will be approximately 1 hour and take us through Guys Hill, Emerald, Belgrave and back to Kevin & Carol’s for the Members Meeting and Christmas Party.
If you don’t wish to attend the mini Runabout, just meet at Kevin & Carol’s at 11:30am for the Members Meeting at 12 noon with a BYO BBQ/Picnic lunch to follow.

MR2 Nationals 2026 in Tasmania

Dates: For Mainland entrants: Sail Spirit of Tasmania Thursday night 19th February 2026
Nationals will be held Friday 20 February 2026 to Monday 23 February 2026 followed by an optional 4 night Tassie Runabout from Launceston to St Helens / Scamander, to Hobart, to Queenstown and Burnie for those who want to stay on. Keep your eye out for updates on the au website and on facebook.
Registration is ESSENTIAL for planning purposes and to enable us to finalise numbers and costs for events like the Track Day and the MR2 Display at the Japanese Classics.

The MR2 Nationals are held every two years in a different State. The first Inter-State meeting was held in 2003 in Goulburn, NSW. for the 10th Anniversary of the NSW Branch. At that meeting it was decided to hold an MR2 Nationals meeting every two years. The first was in 2007 in Canberra ACT, followed by:
2009 in Bathurst, NSW.
2011 in Bright, VIC.
2013 in Hobart, Tasmania.
2015 in Brisbane, QLD.
2017 in Adelaide, SA.
