We have announced MR2 Nationals in Tasmania for 2026. The planning has started a group of volunteers from the club. All details are subject to change.
The proposed dates are Friday 20th February 2026 ~ Monday 23rd February 2026 for the main Nationals event, followed by optional Adventure/Tour of Tasmania. We will likely be sailing out by Spirit of Tasmania on the night of Thursday 19th February 2026 out of Geelong, to arrive at Devonport on 20th February.
Book Spirit of Tasmania early in early March 2025 to get the best deal.

- The proposed Headquarters and main accommodation for the MR2 Nationals is at Launceston at Tamar Valley Resort.
- The proposed events include:
- All Japanese Car Show at the National Auto Museum
- A track day at the Symmons Plains Raceway.
- A scenic drive (tbd)
- Optional – Adventure Tour of Tasmania. (Details tbd)
- We are seeking commercial sponsors, guest speakers, and raffle prize donations closer to the date.
