The NSW Committee is in the process of planning, organising and booking the events details and activities, more information will follow as we lock in details over the coming months. Now that we have a date and location locked in we can all start to set aside some time and book leave from work where needed to ensure a smooth running event.
History of MR2 Nationals : A gathering of MR2 owners from more than one State met in Goulburn, New South Wales in 2003 to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the NSW Branch of the MR2 Owners Club of Australia. Many believe that this was the first MR2 Nationals Meeting. It was from that meeting a suggestion to hold an MR2 Nationals meeting in other States of Australia on a regular basis was made.
However it was not until four years later in 2007 that a true MR2 Nationals Meeting was held in Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory. This was followed by the MR2 Nationals 2009 in Bathurst, NSW, the MR2 Nationals 2011 in Bright, Victoria, the MR2 Nationals 2013 in Hobart, Tasmania, the MR2 Nationals 2015 in Brisbane, QLD, the MR2 Nationals 2017 in Adelaide, SA and the MR2 Nationals 2019 back in Canberra, ACT.
Next year we are heading back to NSW. We’ll be heading to the picturesque Hunter Valley/Newcastle region for a great weekend. It will be a great sight to see plenty of MR2’s cruising through the vineyards and open plains.

MR2 Nationals is coming back to Canberra in 2019.
The entry for 2018 MR2 Wakefield Park Trackday Challenge is now open.
The 2017 MR2 Nationals in Adelaide has concluded successfully with over 30 entrants. Attendees came from all over Australia from Queensland, NSW, Victoria and ACT. Some drove over 4,000km to attend the event.
