Details: BYO drinks, picnic/BBQ lunch, chair, and a kris kringle present if you want to participate. There will be no run beforehand as some will want to attend the Classic Japan 2012 hosted by the Toyota Car Club at Como Park, South Yarra (entry via Williams Road) from 9.00am and join the VIC MR2 Club Xmas party in the afternoon.

Run details: We’ll be heading down the peninsula via a few back ways and ending up somewhere for lunch down there. Maybe Hastings, maybe Rye.. maybe a quick dance up and down Arthurs Seat, even having a look at theCar Museum up on Arthurs Seat for those interested.

Run details: Cruise from Deer Park to Western Ranges
Date: Sunday 29th July 2012
Starting location: Cnr Ballarat Rd and Robinson’s Rd Deer Park (Melways Map 25 A6)
Time: Meet at 9:45am for a 10:15am departure
Details: We will be heading the West of the city to the Brisbane Ranges. Plenty of good MR2 roads out there, and this particular area tends to have very little traffic on a Sunday compared to roads to the East of the city. Also I have swapped the route around from last year to make it even more interesting. We will end up at the Little River Hotel pub for lunch, which is just a typical country pub. Afterwards that will mean only a short trip back to the city via the freeway — Ian Morrison.

Details: We’re heading via Upwey, Monbulk, Emerald, Launching Place, Toolangi Forest, Kinglake, lunch at a surprise location near St Andrews and stopping for a bit of culture and cafe along the way.
